Grégoire Viat

Grégoire Viat is an Associate, Portage Ventures at Sagard, and joined the firm in 2021. As a member of Portage, Grégoire invests in early-stage and growth-stage opportunities globally. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Grégoire is based in Paris.

Prior to Sagard, Grégoire spent more than six years in Investment Banking with Morgan Stanley in London and Paris. He was involved in a number of transactions across M&A and capital markets (public and private) in the Basic Materials sector globally.

Grégoire holds a master’s degree from ESCP Business School in Paris.
