Frank McGrogan is a skilled materials scientist with extensive experience in research and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Device Research Engineer at SageGlass since November 2018, Frank previously gained significant expertise as a PhD Candidate in the Van Vliet Group at MIT, studying the mechanical degradation of Li-ion electrode materials. Frank's earlier roles include internships at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation, where a focus on computational and experimental studies was established, as well as research positions at Penn State University. Frank's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and Bachelor's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Mathematics/Engineering from Penn State and Saint Vincent College, respectively.
