John D'Antico

John D'Antico currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel at Sagent, a Warburg Pincus company, since June 2022. D'Antico has a diverse legal background with experience as a Technology Attorney in private practice from November 2017 to October 2022, and as Chief IP Counsel at Questel from June 2019 to May 2022. Prior roles include IT Lawyer at Rockwell Collins, General Counsel & VP of Legal Affairs at Ryan & Associates, Inc., and General Counsel at Infinity Lawn & Garden - Country Stone. D'Antico also held positions as Chief IP Counsel at Shuffle Master, Inc. and Senior IP Counsel at General Electric, GE Healthcare. D'Antico began a career in law as a Senior IP Associate in private practice after serving as a Nuclear Propulsion Officer in the US Navy. Educational credentials include a JD with honors in IP Law from the University of Florida, an MBA with honors in Business Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BS magna cum laude in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.
