Philip Bauer

Philip Bauer has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specializing in Chemistry, Manufacture, and Control (CMC) for drug substance and drug product development. Currently serving as a consultant for BPW CMC Consulting and retired from Salarius Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacture and Control, Philip has held several senior roles including Vice President of CMC at Aptinyx Inc. and Director of CMC at Tarsa Therapeutics and ILEX Oncology, where significant contributions were made towards IND and NDA submissions. Previous positions include leadership roles at Abbott Laboratories and Gemin X, with a strong emphasis on process development, regulatory compliance, and contract manufacturing oversight. Philip holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wyoming and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Notre Dame.
