Joshua Newman, SVP Healthcare and Life Sciences at Salesforce, is a medical doctor and entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry.

After completing their residency at UCLA, Joshua founded Departmentsite, a software company that provided residency administration tools to medical residencies across the country. Departmentsite was acquired by Salesforce in 2012.

In 2006, Joshua also co-founded Wellgram, a text messaging service for health. Wellgram was acquired by Parentaroo in 2013.

Joshua Newman's educational career includes a Master of Science in Health Services from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Northwestern University.

They work with Brian Millham - President, Customer Success Group, Lisa Edwards - EVP Strategic Business Operations , Partner & Customer Engagement, and Martin Byrne - Director Real Estate Technology. Joshua Newman reports to Bret Taylor, Co-CEO.
