Julia Cohen

Julia Cohen is a seasoned professional in work health and safety with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the General Manager (National) for Work Health and Safety at The Salvation Army since July 2021, Julia previously held the position of Director for Safety Health and Wellbeing at the University of Sydney, where notable achievements included enhancing safety performance measures and influencing the safety culture at the institutional level. Julia's earlier roles include managing workers' compensation claims at QBE Insurance and contributing to health education and research during the AIDS epidemic at UNSW. Julia holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNSW.
