Maldrine Too

Maldrine Too is the current Senior Director of Finance & Admin at Sama. Maldrine has over 6 years of experience in financial leadership positions. Prior to their current role, Maldrine was the Director of Finance & Administration at Digital Divide Data (DDD) from December 2012 to July 2018.

Maldrine has extensive experience in formulating and implementing financial policies, procedures and systems. Maldrine was key in the successful implementation of an ERP system and the development of finance policies that led to ISO certification. Maldrine was also involved in the review and development of procurement policies and procedures to ensure effective cost control mechanisms were adopted.

During their time at DDD, Maldrine was responsible for the financial accounting function, cash flow projections and forecasting, preparing and interpreting financial reports, and donor reporting. Maldrine also controlled and approved expenditure against approved budgets, created cost control initiatives, and investigated variances. In addition, Maldrine identified, analysed and measured foreign currency exposures and recommended mitigation procedures and actions to management.

Maldrine Too is a highly experienced finance professional with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing sound financial policies, procedures and systems.

Maldrine Too has a Bachelors of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from Strathmore University, a Master’s Degree in MSc Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and is a Certified Public Accountant from Certified Public Accountant-Kenya (CPA-K). Maldrine also has certification from kasneb in Certified Public Accountant-Kenya (CPA-K).
