Siddhartha Datta Roy

Siddhartha (Deep) Datta Roy is a senior software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering across multiple companies. Currently at Samsara, since October 2019, Datta Roy has worked on optimizing cloud-based fraud detection products. Previously, at Pindrop, between October 2016 and September 2019, responsibilities included enhancing the scalability of fraud detection systems and performing emergency fixes. Prior roles included software engineering positions at Technicolor and Cisco, focusing on Linux kernel enhancements and smart home products, respectively. Datta Roy's early career included academic roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing as a teaching assistant and research assistant, recognized with the Presidential Undergraduate Research Award. Datta Roy holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
