Yongsung Cheon

Yongsung Cheon has extensive experience in supply chain and logistics management, currently serving as Managing Director at Samsung Electronics since January 2015, with a focus on global procurement logistics, optimizing transportation costs, and implementing innovative systems such as a plastic pallet pool. Prior roles at Samsung Electronics America included Senior Manager, where Yongsung led projects to improve warehouse bin utilization and introduced a Transportation Management System in Mexico. Previous positions at Samsung Electronics and Samsung SDS involved managing various logistics optimization and process improvement projects across different regions, including the development of strategic plans for supply chain and procurement. Yongsung holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Dongguk University.
