Young Hoon Kwon

Young Hoon Kwon is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Vice President of the Network Business Unit at Samsung Electronics since July 2021, focusing on PHY/MAC algorithm design. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Director at NXP Semiconductors where involvement in IEEE 802.11 standardization was key. Young Hoon's background also encompasses positions such as Principal Engineer at Huawei Device USA, working on 5G NR standardization, and Chief Architect at Newracom, concentrating on IEEE 802.11ax standardization with a focus on MAC layer issues.
