Shelly Hess

Shelly Hess currently serves as the Dean of Curriculum and Instructional Services at the San Diego Community College District, a position held since August 2007. Prior to this role, Shelly was the Director of Instructional Services at Southwestern College from 2002 to 2007. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Educational Studies with a focus on Higher Education Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completed in 2008, a Master’s degree in Sociology from San Diego State University obtained in 1998, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, earned in 1994.
