Edmond Perkins

Edmond Perkins is an experienced professional with a strong background in community relations, public affairs, and strategic communication. Currently serving as the External Community Relations Partner at the Port of San Diego since August 2023, Edmond engages with various stakeholders to address community needs. As a Public Affairs Consultant with the San Diego & Imperial SBDC Network since March 2022, Edmond has developed and executed communication strategies for government initiatives and crafted press materials. Previous roles include Administrative Coordinator at the Aaron Price Fellows Program, Campaign Manager for the Governor Gavin Newsom Recall Election, and Field Representative for the California State Assembly, where Edmond effectively advocated for constituents. Early career positions include Personal Banker at Wells Fargo and Sales Specialist at GEICO. Edmond holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Strategic Communications from San Diego State University and an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from San Diego City College.
