Sydney Helder

Sydney Helder, MS, ATC, CSCS, is currently serving as an Assistant Physiotherapist for the San Diego Legion since January 2025. Prior to this role, Sydney held the position of Certified Athletic Trainer at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center from April 2023 to December 2024 and gained experience as an Athletic Training Student with the San Diego Legion and Point Loma Nazarene University. Sydney's athletic training background also includes positions with the San Diego Loyal Soccer Club, Stanford Athletics, the University of California San Diego - Recreation, and as Head Student Athletic Trainer at Vista del Lago High School. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, both from Point Loma Nazarene University. Additionally, Sydney worked as a Recreation Specialist for the City of Folsom, where responsibilities included planning and overseeing camp activities.
