Nannette Mickle

Nannette Mickle is currently the Stewardship Events Manager & Auxiliary Liaison at San Francisco Ballet. Nannette has over 20 years of experience in event management and group sales, having previously worked as a Group Sales Manager at Hostelling International USA - Golden Gate Council and as an Overnight Supervisor at both Walden House and Richmond Hills.

Throughout their career, Nannette has demonstrated a dedication to providing a full-service customer experience. At Hostelling International, they were responsible for increasing revenue each year for five properties in the SF Bay Area and Sacramento; a 500% increase in business over seven years. Nannette achieved this through focused client retention, lead generation, rate negotiation, and yield maximization.

Nannette is also an expert in producing group sales marketing materials, having created rack cards, wall-mount displays, email blasts, posters, conference give-aways, and table-top displays to best position the brand in highly competitive markets.

In their current role at San Francisco Ballet, Nannette is responsible for stewardship events and auxiliary liaison. Nannette has successfully managed a wide variety of events, from small intimate gatherings to large gala fundraisers. Her experience and dedication to customer service makes their an invaluable asset to the organization.

Nannette Mickle graduated from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunications at Arizona State University with a degree in broadcasting. Nannette also has certification from Boston University in professional fundraising and Indiana University in certified student travel professional (CSTP).
