Kevin H. Sharp is Co-Vice Chair and Co-Chair of the Public Interest Practice Group at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight. Previously, Kevin was appointed as a federal district court judge for the Middle District of Tennessee, having been nominated by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the Senate. During their tenure on the bench from 2011 to 2017, Kevin oversaw over 4,000 civil and criminal cases, serving as Chief Judge from 2014 to 2017. With over 30 years of experience in complex civil litigation, Kevin has received multiple awards for their work in civil rights and employment law. Kevin holds degrees from Christian Brothers University, San Diego Mesa College, and Vanderbilt University.
