Elizabeth F. Franklin, PhD, MSW, currently serves as the Head of US Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy for Oncology at Sanofi since February 2022. Previously, Elizabeth was the President of the Cancer Support Community from 2017 to January 2022, where a vision was set to provide $50 million in innovative support services for nearly 17 million cancer survivors. Elizabeth also led the Cancer Policy Institute, developing a significant advocacy strategy, and co-founded the Start Smart Career Center to assist women in nonprofit careers. Other notable roles include President of the National Association of Social Workers DC Metro Chapter and Director of Policy and Engagement at the George Washington Cancer Institute. Elizabeth's academic credentials include a PhD in Social Work from the University of Maryland and an MSW from the University of Illinois Chicago.
