Jie Zhang

Jie Zhang has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Global Head of R&D Competitive Intelligence for Rare Diseases, Neurology, and Genomic Medicine at Sanofi since September 2001. Previous roles at Sanofi include Head of Competitive Intelligence for Rare Diseases and Neuro/MS and Assistant Director for Oncology, with significant responsibilities in tissue protection and repair, fibrosis, and internal medicine therapeutic areas. Prior to Sanofi, Jie Zhang worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Research Investigator focusing on Central Nervous System drug discovery. Jie Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Genetic Engineering from Fudan University.
