Emma Mikhalek Skelly is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in grants management and development coordination. Currently serving as Grants Manager and Development Coordinator at Sansum Diabetes Research Institute since October 2020, Emma oversees development analytics and donor management software, specifically Raiser’s Edge. Previously, Emma contributed as a Development Specialist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where responsibilities included creating and managing a quarterly e-newsletter and overseeing finances for the Community Fundraising team. Emma also held the position of Gifts Coordinator, implementing donation tracking procedures. Earlier roles included serving as an Athletic Department Graduate Assistant at Millsaps College and a Program Services Assistant at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi. Academically, Emma holds an MBA with a concentration in Management and a BBA with minors in Archaeology and Political Science, both from Millsaps College.
