Rachel Kaganoff

Rachel Kaganoff is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit governance and advocacy. Currently serving as a Trustee at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and Secretary of the Board of Directors at the SBCC Foundation, Rachel demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement and education. Previous roles include Board Member for the Santa Barbara Symphony and KCRW's Santa Barbara Advisory Board, as well as involvement with Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy and Princeton University's initiatives in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Women in Leadership. As the Chief Executive Officer and former President of the Junior State of America, Rachel has focused on educating high school students in democratic participation. Additional experience includes directorship at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools and ownership of a culinary enterprise. Rachel holds degrees in Politics from Princeton University and Public Policy from Duke University.
