Tanya Calabretta

Tanya Calabretta serves as the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Santa Clara County Office of Education since September 2023, previously holding the role of Coordinator of Social Emotional Wellness. From July 2016 to September 2023, Tanya was the Principal at Live Oak High School, having also served as Assistant Principal within the same institution. Tanya's earlier experience includes a tenure as a Teacher and FFA Advisor at Ann Sobrato High School from June 2008 to July 2016, and as General Manager at Boomers Family Fun Center from April 1999 to July 2007. Tanya's educational credentials encompass a Master of Science in Agriculture Education, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture, and an Agriculture Education Credential, all from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, as well as an Administrative Credential in Educational Leadership and Administration obtained through the Santa Clara County LEAP program.
