Maurice Phelan

Maurice Phelan is the President of Sartorius Stedim North America, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Maurice served as Vice President of Fluid Management at Repligen Corporation from February 2022 to October 2022 and as Head of Life Science Operations North America at Sartorius Stedim Biotech from May 2018 to February 2022. Maurice's previous experience includes roles such as VP of Pharmaceutical Operations at QPSI and Global BioProcess Services Leader at GE Healthcare. Additionally, Maurice held the position of VP of the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Division at Validant and spent 18 years at Merck Millipore, ultimately serving as Director of BioProcess Services. Maurice began their career in regulatory affairs with Merck KGaA. Educationally, Maurice earned a BSc in Chemistry and Experimental Physics from Maynooth University between 1982 and 1986.
