Khalid Al-Abdulqader

Vice President of Unconventional Resources at aramco

Khalid Al-Abdulqader is the Vice President of Unconventional Resources at Saudi Aramco. Khalid has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, working their way up from Eng/Foreman/Superintendent in oil and gas separation plants to their current position.

In September 1999, they became the Manager of Haradh Gas Plant Development and led the development of a plant that produced 1.6 bSCFD of gas and 180 thousands of condensate per day. The project was completed 6 months ahead of schedule and 20% below budget, and won PMI award as project of the year in 2004 in Anaheim, California.

From September 1997 to June 1998, they worked with SNC LAVLAN on engineering feed for Sea Water Conversion Project. And from October 1985 to July 1997, they worked in oil and gas separation plants as operation engineer, maintenance engineer, foreman, Superintendent in all Ghawar facilities.

Khalid Al-Abdulqader received their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo. Khalid also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo.

Khalid Al-Abdulqader reports to Amin H. Nasser, President and CEO. They work with Abdulaziz M. Al-Gudaimi - Senior Vice President of Downstream, Khalid H Al-Dabbagh - Senior vice president of Finance, Strategy and Development, and Nasir Al-Naimi - Senior Vice President of Upstream.
