Gianluca Minieri

Gianluca Minieri has extensive experience in installation engineering, currently serving as Installation Project Manager and previously as Lead Installation Engineer at SBM Offshore since August 2014. Key responsibilities include defining installation methods, creating procedures and plans, and managing offshore installation campaigns, particularly for the Moho Nord project involving complex offshore structures. Prior to SBM Offshore, Gianluca worked at Saipem from August 2007 to August 2014 as Pipeline Methods Lead Engineer and Offshore Methods Lead Engineer, contributing significantly to various projects in the Congo and Nigeria by overseeing installation methods and facilitating communication between operational teams. Earlier experience includes roles as Installation Engineer and Offshore Field Engineer at Saipem, alongside an internship at CIRA focusing on aerospace research. Gianluca holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, earned between 2000 and 2007.
