Mahmoud El Shaer

Mahmoud El Shaer is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in substation design, electrical systems installation, and project supervision. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at SBM Offshore since May 2024, Mahmoud previously held the same position at PGESCO from August 2012 to April 2024, where responsibilities included substation design review, load flow and short circuit calculations, and technical specifications preparation for various electrical components. Prior roles included Electrical Engineer III, Electrical Engineer II, and Electrical Construction Engineer, focusing on cable installation and grounding systems. Earlier experience included working as an Electrical Site Engineer at Kharafi National, concentrating on lighting, small power systems, and fire alarm installations. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Mansoura University.
