Amy Stockwell is an experienced professional with a strong background in law, policy, and media. Currently serving as the SBS Ombudsman at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since May 2016, Amy has held multiple roles within the organization, including Acting Ombudsman, Deputy Ombudsman, and Head of Social Media. Additionally, Amy is a member of the Advisory Board of the Law Futures Centre at Griffith University. Previous roles include Editor and Writer at Mamamia Women's Network, Freelance Writer, Senior Policy Adviser for the Australian Government, and Executive Manager at Brotherhood of St Laurence. Amy holds a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of Cambridge and dual Bachelor's degrees in Law and Environmental Science from Griffith University.
