Marco Moreira

Marco Moreira is an experienced Industrialization Project Manager specializing in battery systems, currently positioned at Scania Group since April 2025. Prior to this role, Marco served as an Industrialization Manager at Northvolt from December 2020 to April 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple projects with budgets ranging from €0 to €2 million and leading cross-functional teams in the industrialization of battery systems solutions for industrial applications. Marco's earlier experience includes roles as Team Leader and Central Manufacturing Engineer at Volvo Cars from March 2014 to December 2020, focusing on manufacturing processes and product feedback, as well as a Manufacturing Associate. Marco holds a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade do Minho, and participated in a study abroad programme in Mechanical Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
