Sohandeep Cheema

Sohandeep Cheema currently serves as the Security Architecture Lead and Security Operations & Incident Response Uplift Lead at Scentre Group since July 2023, focusing on threat modeling, detection and response, proactive threat hunting, advanced threat intelligence, deception, and incident response. Additionally, Sohandeep is the Director and Principal at Cybervelocity since May 2023. Prior to these roles, Sohandeep held multiple positions at Accenture as Security Principal Director and at DXC Technology, progressing from Regional Security Consulting Lead to IT Security Architect. Previous experience also includes roles such as Network Security Architect at Westpac and IBM, along with a technical specialist position at Optus and a network and security designer role at Telecom New Zealand. Throughout the career, responsibilities have included managing and mentoring security consultants, designing enterprise security solutions, and conducting security risk assessments.
