Jackie Murphy

Jackie Murphy is the Director of Human Resources at Schmidt Futures. She brings over 20 years of progressive human resource management experience for philanthropic organizations, large for-profit companies, and start-up companies in the Silicon Valley area.

Jackie has supported multiple entities affiliated with Eric and Wendy Schmidt as Senior Human Resources Business Partner since 2013, including the Schmidt Ocean Institute, 11th Hour Racing, and Schmidt Futures. In June 2020, Jackie transitioned to work directly for Schmidt Futures as their dedicated Human Resources Director. Prior to her work at these entities, Jackie worked as a Senior Human Resources Consultant for over 10 years helping numerous start-ups companies, as well as serving in various HR roles with TERADYNE and Cubic Corporation.

Jackie graduated summa cum laude from Golden Gate University and earned her Master in Human Resources Management. She has a Bachelors degree of Business Management from San Jose State University, and brings a unique international perspective from her extensive travels. Jackie was raised in Lima, Peru.
