Nick Rudder

Nick Rudder is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sphere. Prior to Sphere, Nick was an Associate at Macquarie Group from February 2019 to July 2019, where they were part of the Macquarie Capital Technology Principal Investments team focused on growth equity investments and the Macquarie Capital Technology, Media, Entertainment & Telecommunications industry coverage team. Nick Rudder was also an Investment Banking Analyst at Macquarie Group from December 2015 to February 2019.

From October 2018 to July 2019, Nick Rudder was a Board Observer at Console Group and InLoop. Prior to that, Nick Rudder was a Technology Consultant at PwC from June 2015 to December 2015 as part of PwC Digital Services, specialising in digital transformation and customer strategy.

Before their work in consulting and investment banking, Nick Rudder worked as a Cloud Solutions Intern at Microsoft from December 2014 to June 2015 and as a Marketing Intern at Endemol Shine North America from June 2013 to December 2013. Nick Rudder is also a Co-Founder of Pledger, which they founded in March 2014 and ran until March 2015.

Nick Rudder attended Y Combinator's W22 batch. Nick then went on to get their Master of Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. After that, they got their MBA from the London Business School. Nick is currently enrolled in the Summer 2021 cohort for The Economics of Digital Platforms at ScholarSite and the Fall 2021 cohort for Building & Investing in Network Effects at ScholarSite. Nick also holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce/Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Nick's high school education includes a High School Certificate from The Scots College (Sydney, Australia) and a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) from The British School of Milan - Sir James Henderson School.
