Kayla Marquez

Kayla Marquez is an elementary school teacher with experience in various educational roles at School District U-46 since August 2022, including positions as a paraeducator, substitute teacher, and student teacher. Kayla also gained experience in the service industry as a server at Big Bowl and Chili's, and previously worked as an infant teacher at Studio Preschool and an event coordinator intern at Itasca Country Club. Additional experience includes internships with Designed and Detailed Event Planning and Big City Bride. Kayla Marquez is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching at Western Governors University, having previously earned degrees in Communication and Hospitality from DePaul University and an Associate of Arts from Elgin Community College.
