Glen Gowland

Glen Gowland was appointed Group Head, Global Wealth Management on December 1, 2019. In this role, he is responsible for growing Scotiabank’s wealth management revenues globally and executing strategies that deliver total wealth solutions to the Bank’s current and prospective clients.

Glen has over 25 years of investment management and banking experience. Since joining Scotiabank in 2000, he has held senior leadership roles in Wealth Management and Asset Management. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President, Global Wealth Management. He has served and chaired numerous Boards, including Co-Chair of Scotia Capital, and Chairman of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada.
