Emily Wilson-Gavin

Emily Wilson-Gavin currently serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs for SSE Distribution at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks since June 2020 and as a Non Executive Board Advisor for The Globe Group CIC since November 2022. Previously, Emily held the position of External Affairs Manager at Cadent Gas Limited from September 2018 to June 2020, where responsibilities included managing strategic relationships with national Government and devolved authorities. Emily also worked as Public Affairs Manager for UKLPG from October 2015 to September 2018, advocating for over 100 member companies on various energy policy issues. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Parliamentary Aide and Policy Advisor in the House of Commons from September 2007 to July 2015. Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Nottingham and completed further education at Hult Ashridge Executive Education.
