Danny Bisland

Danny Bisland currently serves as the Head of Public Affairs at the Scottish Football Association, having assumed the role in November 2023, where responsibilities include leading the public affairs strategy and fostering partnerships with government and international football bodies. Previous roles at the Scottish FA include National Football Development Manager and Public Affairs Lead, focusing on stakeholder management and demonstrating the efficacy of football in promoting healthier communities. Danny also served as the Football Social Responsibility Lead, advocating for inclusivity in the sport, and as National Club Grow Manager, overseeing the development and education of clubs. Additional experience includes a position as a UEFA Grow Mentor, providing strategic Public Affairs support to National Associations across Europe. Academic qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science in Coaching Science from Liverpool John Moores University and several UEFA diplomas in football management and leadership.
