Collin Otis

Collin Otis is a distinguished technology leader and entrepreneur with a strong background in machine learning, autonomy, and engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO of Scout AI, Collin is focused on developing Fury, a multidomain robotic foundation model for U.S. defense. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Autonomy and Principal Engineer at Kodiak, leading AI and autonomy initiatives, and as Chief of Staff at Uber's Advanced Technologies Group, where Collin advanced the commercialization of robotaxis. Additionally, Collin has held leadership positions in data science at Target and founded Powered Analytics, which was acquired by Target. With experience in high-level research at NASA and the Air Force Research Laboratory, Collin holds a PhD and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as graduate coursework at Carnegie Mellon University.
