Senior Business Operations Manager at Scratch Financial

Sarah Gomer has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010. Sarah started as an Arts Administration Intern at Salem Art Works, followed by an Executive Assistant and Jeweler at Vitriesse Glass in 2010. In 2011, they became an Administrative Assistant at the Stanford Arts Institute at Stanford University. In 2012, they worked as a Digitization Assistant at the University of Chicago Library Preservation Department. In 2014, they were a U.S. Department of Education Fellow in Hindi at the American Institute of Indian Studies. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Research Associate at The George Washington University, where they assisted in writing a biography of Dr. Virginia Alexander. During this time, they also worked as a Researcher and Administrative Assistant at The Kavli Foundation, where they conducted research on philanthropy in America and copy edited and proofread materials for the foundation's meetings. In 2018, they worked as a Studio Assistant at the Studio of Courtney Mattison. In 2020, they held two roles at Scratch Financial, Business Operations Manager and Senior Credit Risk Analyst. Finally, in 2021, they became an Associate Member at Pavilion.

Sarah Gomer has a well-rounded educational background. Sarah received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Skidmore College in 2010, majoring in Religious Studies, South Asian Studies, and Sculpture. Sarah then attended the South Asia Summer Language Institute in 2012 and 2013, studying Sanskrit and Hindi respectively. In 2014, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in South Asian Religious Studies at the University of Chicago. Prior to this, they attended Palisades Charter High School from 2002 to 2006.
