Julia Curns-Welch

Julia Curns-Welch currently serves as the Senior Manager of Grants & Corporate Partnerships at Seattle Aquarium, a position held since October 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure at Seattle Opera from November 2016 to October 2025, where Julia held various roles including Associate Director of Development - Institutional Giving, Institutional Giving Officer, Institutional Giving Manager, and Individual Giving Coordinator. Julia's career began at Capital One as a Senior Coordinator in Digital Product Management and also includes positions at The Theatre School at DePaul University and Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where roles ranged from Box Office Manager to Assistant House Manager. Julia holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Management as well as a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts Management, both from DePaul University.
