Allen Bell has held a variety of roles in the business world, starting with StrategyBase in 1991, where they were President and Founder. In 1996, they co-founded KidsDoctor.com, an online publisher leveraging proprietary content authored by a veteran physician. In 1998, they were the General Manager of NOLA.com, an online New Orleans news and entertainment website in affiliation with The Times-Picayune. In 2002, they co-founded The Idea Village, a business accelerator driving economic development through innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2014, they became a Strategic Advisor for Prosparity Systems, and in 2015 they became a Partner at UpSide Strategy. In 2017, they began teaching as Faculty in the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans. In 2020, they became a Strategic Advisor for BioBeads LLC, and in 2021 they became the Director of Strategic Planning and Initiatives at the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity.
Allen Bell attended De La Salle from 1972 to 1976 and then Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a BBA in Business Administration.
