John David G. Yap

John David G. Yap is a Senior Vice President at Security Bank Corp. John was previously the Head of Regional SME Lending at Grab from June 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Group Head of Business Banking Analytics at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) from March 2015 to June 2019. Before that, they were the Vice President of SME and Commercial Banking at Fullerton Financial Holdings from May 2010 to March 2015.

John David G. Yap started their career as an Analyst/Programmer at Infinit-e Asia Incorporated from September 1999 to June 2003. John then moved to Standard Chartered Bank where they became MIS & Analytics, Credit Risk Management and Business Planning from June 2005 to May 2010.

John David G. Yap has an MBA in International Business from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Exchange Credits from Cologne Intensive Summer Program from University of Cologne, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Ateneo de Manila University.
