Moriah Hara

CISO, Vigilance Cyber Security at SecurityScorecard

Moriah is a Global Chief Information Security Officer and risk executive acting as 2nd line CISO owning cybersecurity, fraud, data analytics & AI, data governance, physical security at BMO Financial Group, a multinational investment bank and financial services.

She was formerly the Founder and Security Consulting Advisor of Vigilance Security, a security consulting firm serving Fortune 500 CISOs, CIOs and their businesses in the hedge fund, banking, insurance and technology space. Previously, Moriah served as a Chief Information Security Officer at several Fortune 500 companies, including Interpublic Group and Wells Fargo Capital Markets.

In 2019, Moriah was named by Cybercrime Magazine as one of the top 100 Fascinating Women Fighting Cyber and has been recognized as ISE NorthEast CISO Executive of the Year. She is passionate about aligning and integrating values into her work. In order to bring in more diversity to the cybersecurity industry, she mentors female-led startups, is a sponsor of the ‘Year Up’ program which helps place young adult students into Cybersecurity careers and volunteers at her local daughter’s school as a Cybersecurity Girl Scout lead.

She is a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Cyber Security Program and is a sought out thought leader at security forums such as FS-ISAC, FINRA, SINET and Bloomberg Publications and was the ISE NorthEast CISO Executive of the Year in 2017.
