Mitch Higashi

Mitch Higashi is the SVP of Health Economics & Outcomes Research at Sema4. Mitch has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Mitch began their career as a Director of Clinical Development at Cardiome Pharma Corp from 1996 to 1998. Mitch then transitioned to GlaxoSmithKline, where they became the US Head of Outcomes Research for Cardiovascular & Metabolic Diseases from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, Mitch joined GE Healthcare as their Chief Economist and was eventually promoted to Worldwide Head of Market Access & Pricing. Mitch held this position for 10 years until they joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2016 as their Vice President of Health Economics & Outcomes Research. Mitch has been with Sema4 since October 2021.

Mitch Higashi has a AMP from The Wharton School and a PhD in Health Economics & Outcomes Research from the University of Washington. Mitch also has a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from The University of British Columbia.
