Dean Hughes

Dean Hughes is the current Executive Director of Advancement & Alumni at Seneca College. Dean has over 20 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, with a focus on alumni relations and development. Prior to joining Seneca College, Dean was the Head of Alumni Relations and Development at Sheffield Hallam University, Executive Director of Annual and Leadership Giving at the University of Toronto, Vice President of Community Development at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Director of Direct Marketing at UNICEF. Dean has also held positions as an Account Director and Manager at Stephen Thomas and Burnett Associates. In 2015, Dean founded Dean Hughes Consulting Inc., a fundraising and marketing consulting firm.

Dean Hughes attended Coventry University where they studied biology. Dean then went on to The Manchester Metropolitan University to earn their BSC in the same field.
