Randy Frederick

SVP, Sales and Business Development at Sensei

Father of three, grandfather of two, who’s fluent in German and can’t take his eyes away from the screen when the Chicago Cubs or Boston Red Sox are playing, Randy Frederick joins the Sensei Ag team with over three decades of sales and business development experience.

Randy began his career at MillerCoors where he spent over a decade in various sales and marketing positions. He then joined the Avalon Beverage Company as Director of Sales and Marketing working with the Pepsi Distribution System. Post Avalon, Randy was Regional Director for the Northeast at Monarch Beverages where he grew sales for the Company’s root beer brand, Dad’s, by 148% in the Canadian market.

Post Randy’s time at Monarch, he served as Director of Sales at MHQ Municipal Vehicles and Equipment in MA building outside sales teams across the New England region.

Still very passionate about the food and beverage industry, Randy entered the startup world in 2014 as VP of National Account Sales for SteadyServe Technologies, where he placed the company’s innovative beer technology, iKeg, at stadiums across the U.S. and internationally.

Randy ultimately transitioned from beverages to produce. He was Vice President of National Sales for Freight Farms, an AgTech startup manufacturing container farms, and then most recently served as Director of Sales and Business Development at Crop One Holdings, Inc., a vertical farming company that owns FreshBox Farms in Millis, MA and a joint venture with Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai.

Randy is a recognized sales leader who earned his Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. When Randy is not searching for his next retail account, you can find him in his happy place, Kennebunkport, Maine, with his wife and best friend Mary.
