About
The current leadership team at Sentara Healthcare has a wide range of experience in both the healthcare industry and in management. The team is led by CEO Howard Kern, who has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at Bon Secours Health System and as the Chief Executive Oregon Eastern Region & Providence Portland Medical Center at Providence. Other members of the team include Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joanne Conroy, who has a background in finance and previously worked as a Finance Manager at Bon Secours Richmond Health System, and Administrator Karen McQuade, who has experience working in both cardiac and thoracic surgery.
