Spencer Streeter

Li Yu is a backend software engineer who has worked for [Sentropy Technologies](/org/sentropy-technologies), [Narvar](/org/narvar), [Keysight Technologies](/org/keysight-technologies), and [WANdisco](/org/wandisco). Li Yu began their career as a software engineer at [WANdisco](/org/wandisco) in June 2015. In this role, they worked on creating APIs and backend logic for the company's language translation service. This work consolidated language translation work across the company and improved language consistency across all products. In September 2018, Li Yu joined [Narvar](/org/narvar) as a software engineer II. In this role, they designed and implemented the database, codebase, and APIs for [Narvar](/org/narvar) Concierge, a platform that enabled brick and mortar stores to become shipping and returns locations for online orders. This work increased foot traffic to retail stores while simultaneously expanding their business models. In July 2017, Li Yu began working as a software engineer at [Keysight Technologies](/org/keysight-technologies). In this role, they worked on improving the company's product offerings and developing new features. In April 2020, Li Yu joined [Sentropy Technologies](/org/sentropy-technologies) as a backend software engineer. In this role, they continue to work on improving the company's product offerings and developing new features.

Ian Lin is a software engineer who currently works for [Sentropy Technologies](/org/sentropy-technologies). Ian has previously worked for Oracle, Yahoo and Acxiom Corp Inc. as a software engineer and developer. Ian also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from their time at [San Jose State University](/org/san-jose-state-university). Ian Lin has experience in designing and implementing product features, as well as defining non-functional product requirements. Ian is also skilled in evaluating technical directions, strategies and risks, and improving features and systems. Furthermore, they are able to verify results and mentor engineers. Ian Lin’s experience includes working on a low code/no code Oracle Marketing AppCloud as a platform for business users to create and customize the workflow of marketing campaigns using Oracle Marketing services and third-party apps. Ian has also delivered a Yahoo premium advertising application and API from the ground up, as well as developing frequency capping using machine learning stochastic streaming algorithms (a.k.a. Sketches) with histogram. The pipeline was implemented in Hadoop HDFS MapReduce.
