Alton Lee

Alton Lee is an accomplished science educator with extensive experience in chemistry, biology, and environmental science. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Sequoia Union High School District since August 2017, Alton has played a pivotal role in curriculum development, cross-curricular activity design, and supporting staff through various initiatives, including serving as a Canvas LMS coach. Previous positions include Teacher-in-Residence at San Francisco State University, where Alton supported aspiring math and science educators, and teaching roles at Archbishop Mitty High School and San Francisco Unified School District, where Alton contributed to program development and student engagement. Alton's educational background includes a Master’s in Science Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Molecular/Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Recognized as the SUHSD Certificated Employee of the Year in 2023, Alton continues to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within educational settings.
