Vasiliki Pelekanou

Vasiliki Pelekanou currently serves as the Senior Director and Clinical Lead for Early Clinical Development in Oncology at Servier since May 2025. Prior to this role, Vasiliki held the position of Science Fellow at Bayer from August 2021 to May 2025, contributing to project teams and demonstrating strong communication skills. During the time at Bayer, Vasiliki also served as Senior Director and Digital Pathology Leader in Oncology Precision Medicine, focusing on technological innovation and team management. Vasiliki's earlier experience includes roles at Sanofi from June 2018 to August 2021, where work as Clinical Translational Medical Lead and Clinical Biomarker Lead emphasized technological innovation and team management. Additionally, Vasiliki was a Principal Research and Clinical Biomarker Scientist at Sanofi, leading biomarker strategy in immuno-oncology projects. Before Sanofi, Vasiliki was an Associate Research Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine from May 2014 to May 2018, specializing in translational science and cross-functional team leadership. Vasiliki holds a PhD from the University of Crete, School of Medicine, and an MD from the University of Crete.
