Ian Griffith

VP, eCommerce at SevenFifty

Ian Griffith is the current Vice President of eCommerce at SevenFifty. Prior to this, they served in the same role at Beverage Media for sixteen years.

Griffith began their career at Beverage Media in 2004 as the Vice President of eCommerce. In this role, they were responsible for the Bevmedia marketplace website, which they redesigned to better serve buyers and sales reps. Ian also initiated outreach to retailers and sales reps to build engagement around differentiating features, and conducted in-person training at sales meetings for dozens of prominent distributors.

Thanks to the redesign and marketplace engagement, GMV on the website grew by 20-40% YoY for seven years, reaching a total of $500M. Griffith also built a strategic partnership with a leading sales force automation tool to deliver sell sheets, product metadata, and ratings to sales reps, further expanding Beverage Media's reach into new markets. In addition, they designed and executed a Data Governance project that leveraged Beverage Media's metadata and matching technology for a leading national distributor.

Griffith is a regular presenter at WSWA's CLD events, VinExpo, Wine2Wine, and WITS conferences.

Ian Griffith has a BA in Organizational Behavior from New York University and a Certificate in Organization Development and Transformation from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

They work with Courtney Schiessl Magrini - Executive Editor, Jody Slone Siptalnik - VP, Partnerships, and Hannah Begley - VP, Operations. Their manager is Aaron Sherman, Co-Founder & CEO.
