Pierre Marsais

Pierre Marsais currently serves as a Software Engineer in Virtualization at Shadow, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this, significant experience includes working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google from May 2019 to July 2023, where contributions were made to enhance WAN reliability within the core networking team. Pierre also held a role as a Software Engineer at Arista Networks from February 2018 to March 2019, focusing on driver development for network ASICs and TCAM memory resource optimization. Earlier roles include research at the EPITA Systems Laboratory with a focus on operating systems, low-level programming, and computer security, as well as teaching positions at EPITA and a software engineering role at Murex. Pierre's career began with a software developer internship at Veolia Propreté. Pierre earned a Master's degree in GISTRE from EPITA, specializing in operating systems and embedded systems.
