Lara Aryani

Lara Aryani is currently a partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP. From August 2012 to December 2012, they were a legal secondee at Macquarie Group. From June 2012 to June 2019, they were an associate board member and volunteer attorney at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. From September 2008 to November 2014, they were an associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where they focused on domestic and international corporate transactions. Her experience includes representing clients in public and private mergers and acquisitions, going private transactions, private placements of securities, tender offers, exchange offers, minority investments, joint ventures, restructurings, corporate governance and the formation and management of private equity funds. In 2007, they were a summer placement at Clyde & Co LLP and a summer associate at Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady. From January to May 2007, they were a law clerk at the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP.

Lara Aryani has a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, an M.A. in Arab Studies from Georgetown University, and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
