Caroline Omloo

Caroline Omloo is a Dutch lawyer and business executive. Caroline is currently the Company Secretary at Shell.

Omloo began their career as a lawyer at NautaDutilh Advocaten en Notarissen in 1994. Caroline worked there for five years before joining Shell International as Legal Counsel Corporate in 1999.

Omloo spent nine years with Shell, first as Head of Legal at Shell Nederland Verkoopmaatschappij from 2004 to 2007, then as Head of Legal & Compliance at Shell Asset Management Company B.V. from 2017 to 2022. In between these positions, they also served as Associate General Counsel Corporate & Finance NL & Secretary to Audit Committee of RDS plc from January 2009 to September 2017.

In February 2022, Omloo was appointed Company Secretary Designated Shell at Shell International B.V., a position they held until August of that year. Caroline has been with their current employer, Shell, since September 2017.

Caroline Omloo attended a Gymnasium, a type of school in the Netherlands, before attending Leiden University. Caroline then attended the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Caroline Omloo reports to Ben van Beurden, CEO. They work with Sinead Gorman - CFO, Donny Ching - Legal Director, and Ronan Cassidy - Chief Human Resources & Corporate Officer.
